Henry Neugebauer, P.Eng., President & Director
Mr. Neugebauer is an experienced exploration geologist with some 40 years relevant experience in base metal, gold and uranium exploration and development. Mr. Neugebauer has a M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Oregon and an M.B.A. from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. He was an exploration manager for Chevron Resources Inc. (a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation) in the United States, Europe, Africa and thus brings extensive experience in exploration, project evaluation and mine development to the company. Mr. Neugebauer has been President, Director and technical advisor to several TSX Venture Exchange companies. He was involved in the discovery and eventual sale of Mar West’s San Martin gold deposit in Honduras to Glamis Gold for in excess of $40 million.
Joe Milbourne, Director
Mr. Milbourne has a M.Sc. in Metallurgy from the University of Utah and a B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He has over thirty years of experience in the development, design, construction and management of mineral processing projects in the U.S.A. and Latin America. His core skills include: hydrometallurgy, refractory gold treatment, pressure leaching, solvent extraction, gravity gold recovery, biohydrometallurgy, in-situ leaching, mineral processing, heap leaching and the application of ion exchange to environmental and hydrometallurgical technologies. Mr. Milbourne is currently based out of Vancouver, B.C. with Whildhorse Energy, an international uranium company.
Mohammed Hassan Alief, Director
Mr. Alief is a mining engineer with a M.Sc. degree from the University of Idaho. Mr. Alief has extensive experience with the Afghan and Idaho geologic agencies; has worked in industry for Homestake, Chevron, Goldbelt Minerals and Ur-Energy in various commodities with a focus on precious metals and uranium. Currently Mr Alief is president of Denver – based Arnevut Exploration with emphasis on gold exploration in the western USA.
Michael Easdon, Director
Mr. Easdon is an Oregon Registered Geologist and holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology from McGill University in Quebec obtained in 1960 and 1970 respectively. Mr. Easdon has been involved with mineral exploration in North America, Latin America and Eastern Europe for over thirty years. He was the Exploration Manager for Lacana Gold, where he was successful in identifying two gold deposits which were subsequently put into production. For the past eight years Mr. Easdon has been based out of Santiago, Chile, from where he has performed property evaluations, for numerous companies and has been involved in the preparation of technical data and bankable reports for presentation to various stock exchanges and institutions.
Fernando de la Fuente, Vice President - Exploration
Mr. De la Fuente is a Spanish Registered Geologist and holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology from Granada University, Spain in 1974 and 1976 respectively. He has over thirty years of mineral exploration experience in Europe, Africa and North America. He was the Regional Manager for Anglo American Corporation of South Africa in West Africa and has also worked for Phelps Dodge. From 1981 to 1986 he was the Chief Geologist of Rioibex, S.A., the Spanish subsidiary of Rio Algom Ltd. of Canada, where his duties included the management and supervision of all exploration and mining projects in Spain including the La Parrilla tungsten (scheelite)-tin deposit. For the past ten years Mr. De la Fuente has provided project evaluation, mining exploration and geological consulting performing contract work for numerous international companies in Europe, Africa, North America and Latin America.
Brad Carlyle, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Carlyle is a C.A. and brings significant financial reporting, regulatory & compliance experience gained from international work experience with KPMG LLP (Vancouver and Atlanta, USA) & Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe (London, UK). For the past year, Mr. Carlyle has worked as Group Controller for the Information Products Group of MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (“MDA”). In this role, he is responsible for the financial reporting of the Business Area’s 11 subsidiaries based in North America & Europe, as well as overseeing the Business Area’s compliance with requirements established to adhere to MI 52-109.
Charles N. Forster, P.Geo., Consultant
Mr. Forster has over 35 years of mining industry experience. Finding success early in his career, in 1974 he lead the geological team that discovered the Igor copper-uranium property in the Fairchild Lake District of the Yukon Territory. In 1975, he took a position with Union Carbide to manage exploration programs in the Yukon, becoming the Manager for tungsten exploration across Canada in 1980. During this time the Kalzas tungsten deposit was discovered in the Mayo District. After Union Carbide, he worked as a consultant for both junior and major companies in BC, the Yukon and Northwest Territories. He was responsible for the drill program that discovered the Skukom Creek gold and silver deposit for Omni Gold. Mr. Forster then joined Freeport, McMoran Gold Company and is currently the Senior Vice President of Exploration at Oyu Tolgoi, for Ivanhoe Mines in Mongolia, for which he was recognized by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, which named Mr. Forster a co-recipient of the first Thayer Lindsley Medal awarded for the International Discovery of the Year in 2003. |
